Allen (Vintage Lane Obs.), I. Bond (Massey Univ.), G. Christie (Stardome Obs.), report on behalf of a larger collaboration: We have observed the afterglow of GRB 091029 (Grupe et al. GCN 10097) using the 0.6m Yock-Allen robotic telescope (BOOTES-3). A 24x60s combined unfiltered exposure with mid epoch October 29.450 UT (6.9 h after the burst) shows the afterglow at a magnitude of R = 18.5 +/- 0.2 as compared to USNO-B1 star n. 0340-0030266 (RA, Dec = 04:00:39.53, -55:56:55.17, R2 = 16.66).
