TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR NUMBER: 32826 SUBJECT: GRB 221023A: Fermi GBM Final Localization DATE: 22/10/24 13:22:51 GMT FROM: Rachel Dunwoody at UCD The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely long GRB At 20:41:34.92 UT on 23 October 2022, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 221023A (trigger 688250499 / 221023862). The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 232.3, Dec = 11.8 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 15h 29m, 11d 48'), with a statistical uncertainty of 1 degree. The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 52 degrees.
