TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR NUMBER: 33104 SUBJECT: GRB 221226A: Fermi GBM Final Real-time Localization DATE: 22/12/26 16:54:45 GMT FROM: Fermi GBM Team at MSFC/Fermi-GBM The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB At 16:44:27 UT on 26 Dec 2022, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 221226A (trigger 693765872.056908 / 221226698). The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 68.2, Dec = 34.8 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 04h 32m, 34d 47'), with a statistical uncertainty of 1.2 degrees. The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 97.0 degrees.
