Frederiks, S. Golenetskii, R.Aptekar, P. Oleynik, M. Ulanov, D. Svinkin, A. Tsvetkova, A.Lysenko, A. Kozlova, and T. Cline, on behalf of the Konus-Wind team, report: The short/hard GRB 170219A (IPN triangulation: Svinkin et al., GCN 20702) triggered Konus-Wind at T0=186.125 s UT (00:03:06.125). The light curve shows a single, bright pulse with a duration of ~0.25s. The emission is seen up to ~5 MeV. As observed by Konus-Wind, the burst had a fluence of (1.6 ± 0.6)x10^-6 erg/cm2 and a 16-ms peak energy flux, measured from T0, of (2.8 ± 0.9)x10^-5 erg/cm2 (both in the 20 keV - 10 MeV energy range). The spectrum, measured from T0 to T0+0.064 s, is best fit in the 20 keV - 15 MeV range by a power law with exponential cutoff (CPL) model dN/dE ~ (E^alpha)*exp(-E*(2+alpha)/Ep) with alpha = -1.24 (-0.15,+0.17), Ep = 1620 (-660,+1920) keV, Cstat=47/56 dof. The Konus-Wind light curve of this GRB is available at http://www.ioffe.ru/LEA/GRBs/GRB170219_T00186/ All the quoted errors are estimated at the 1 sigma confidence level. All the presented results are preliminary. //////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR NUMBER: 20706 SUBJECT: GRB 170219A: Fermi GBM observation DATE: 17/02/19 21:08:46 GMT FROM: Oliver J Roberts at USRA/NASA O.J. Roberts (USRA/NASA), M. Stanbro and C. Meegan (UAH) report on behalf of the Fermi GBM Team: "At 00:03:07.12 UT on February 19th 2017, the Fermi Gamma-Ray Burst Monitor triggered and located GRB 170219A (trigger 509155392 / 170219002), which was also detected by Konus-Wind (Frederiks et al. 2017, GCN 20703) and for which a triangulated position was reported by IPN (Svinkin et al. 2017, GCN 20702). The GBM localisation is within about 2.5-sigma of the triangulated IPN position. The initial angle from the Fermi-LAT boresight to the GBM ground-location using the centre of the IPN triangulated position is 133 degrees. The GBM light curve shows a bright, short burst a duration (T90) of about 0.08 s (50-300 keV). The time-averaged spectrum from T0-0.03 s to T0+0.05 s is best fit by a power law function with an exponential high-energy cutoff. The power law index is -0.59 +/- 0.10 and the cutoff energy, parameterized as Epeak is 1165 +/- 182 keV A Band function fits the spectrum equally well with alpha= -0.56 +/- 0.11, beta= -3.25 +/- 1.19 and Epeak is 1093 +/- 202 keV. The event fluence (10-1000 keV) in this time interval is (9.52 +/- 0.49)E-07 erg/cm^2. The 64 ms peak photon flux measured starting from T0+0 s in the 10-1000 keV band is 29.4 +/- 1.9 ph/s/cm^2. The spectral analysis results presented above are preliminary; final results will be published in the GBM GRB Catalog." //////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR NUMBER: 20710 SUBJECT: GRB 170219A: CALET Gamma-Ray Burst Monitor detection DATE: 17/02/21 09:29:37 GMT FROM: Takanori Sakamoto at AGU M. L. Cherry (LSU), A. Yoshida, T. Sakamoto, Y. Kawakubo, M. Moriyama, Y. Yamada (AGU), K. Yamaoka (Nagoya U), S. Nakahira (JAXA), I. Takahashi (IPMU), Y. Asaoka, S. Ozawa, S. Torii (Waseda U), Y. Shimizu, T. Tamura (Kanagawa U), W. Ishizaki (ICRR), S. Ricciarini (U of Florence), P. S. Marrocchesi (U of Siena) and the CALET collaboration: The short-duration GRB 170219A (Roberts et al., GCN Circ. 20706; Frederiks et al., GCN Circ. 20703; INTEGRAL-SPI/ACS trigger #7701) triggered the CALET Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (CGBM) at 00:03:06.76 on 19 February 2017. The burst signal was seen by all CGBM instruments. Because of a problem in one of the ground alert processing script, the GCN notice was not distributed automatically for this event. The light curve of the SGM shows a single peak. The peak starts and peaks at T0-0.2 sec and ends at T+0.5 sec. The T90 duration measured by the SGM data is 0.25 +- 0.18 sec (40-1000 keV). The light curve is available at http://cgbm.calet.jp/cgbm_trigger/flight/1171497500/index.html The CALET data used in this analysis are provided by the Waseda CALET Operation Center located at the Waseda University. //////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR NUMBER: 20719 SUBJECT: GRB 170219A: POLAR Observation DATE: 17/02/22 08:18:10 GMT FROM: Zhao Yi at POLAR Minzi Feng (IHEP), Yi Zhao (IHEP), Yuanhao Wang (IHEP) report on behalf of the POLAR collaboration: At 2017-02-19T00:03:07.00 UT (T0), during a routine on-ground search of data, POLAR detected the GRB 170219A, which was also detected by the Fermi/GBM (trigger 509155392/170219002, Circ 20706), CALET/GBM (Cherry et al. 2017, GCN 20710) INTEGRAL/SPIACS (trigger 7701), Konus-Wind (Frederiks et al. 2017, GCN 20703) and for which a triangulated position was reported by IPN (Svinkin et al. 2017, GCN 20702).
