//////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR NUMBER: 23028 SUBJECT: GRB 180722B: CALET Gamma-Ray Burst Monitor detection DATE: 18/07/24 11:07:33 GMT FROM: Takanori Sakamoto at AGU T. S. Marrocchesi (U of Siena) and the CALET collaboration: The long GRB 180722B (Fermi-GBM trigger #553996158; Konus-Wind trigger time on 23:49:18.90 UT) triggered the CALET Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (CGBM) at 23:49:16.174 UTC on 22 July 2018. Because of a problem in one of the ground alert processing script, the GCN notice was not distributed automatically for this event. The burst light curve shows two broad pulses which start at T-4.0 sec and end at T+39.9 sec. The T90 and the T50 durations measured by the SGM data are 40.1 +- 3.2 sec and 30.0 +- 1.7 sec (40-1000 keV), respectively. The ground processed light curve is available at http://cgbm.calet.jp/cgbm_trigger/ground/1216338436/ The CALET data used in this analysis are provided by the Waseda CALET Operation Center located at the Waseda University. //////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR NUMBER: 23039 SUBJECT: GRB 180722B: Insight-HXMT/HE detection DATE: 18/07/26 03:38:40 GMT FROM: Yue Huang at IHEP Y. Huang, G. Li, S. L. Xiong, X. B. Li, C. K. Li, C.Z. Liu, X.F. Li, Z. W. Li, Z. Chang, J. L. Zhao, A. M. Zhang, Y. F. Zhang, X. F. Lu, C. L. Zou (IHEP), Y. J. Jin, Z. Zhang (THU), T. P. Li (IHEP/THU),F. J. Lu, L. M. Song, H. Y. Wang, M. Wu, Y. P. Xu, S. N. Zhang (IHEP), report on behalf of the Insight-HXMT team: At 2018-07-22T23:49:13.000 (T0), the Insight-HXMT/HE detected GRB 180722B(trigger ID: HEB180722992) in a routine search of the data, which was also triggered by Fermi-GBM (trigger #553996158), Konus-Wind (trigger time 23:49:18.90 UT) and CALET (T. Tamura et al., GCN23028). The Insight-HXMT/HE light curve consists of two broad pulses with a duration (T90) of 49.2 s measured from T0+0.4 s. The 1-s peak rate, measured from T0+41.5 s, is 1679.3 cnts/sec. The total counts from this burst is 27707.0 counts. URL_LC: http://www.hxmt.org/images/GRB/HEB180722992_lc.jpg All measurements above are made with the CsI detectors operating in the regular mode with the energy range of about 80-800 keV (record energy). Only gamma-rays with energy greater than about 200 keV can penetrate the spacecraft and leave signals in the CsI detectors installed inside of the telescope. The analysis results presented above are preliminary, final results will be published elsewhere. Insight-HXMT is the first Chinese space X-ray telescope, which was funded jointly by the China National Space Administration (CNSA) and the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS).
